About Anthony Bailey

After surviving childhood domestic violence and 14 years of alcoholism as an adult I decided to turn my life around which led to me completing the Los Angeles Marathon, my first marathon at the age of 40. It was extremely hard, and moments after completing it, I vowed never to do another. That was a lie.

Many marathons and running events later, I am thankful for the many joys and amazing people running has brought into my life. This journey has led to me being a co-founder of the nonprofit organization, Run for Grace and the owner of Your Best Life Media.

My running journey has not been easy and I have made many, MANY mistakes along the way. Shoot, I am still making mistakes! But, those mistakes have helped me to become a more joyful runner today.

My goal is to help you on your running journey by possibly inspiring you through my experiences, providing gear and product reviews, and sharing running tips I have learned along the way.

Remember, to keep running for, YOUR BEST LIFE!

Your friend,

Anthony

Proud to represent the
2025 Los Angeles Marathon as an ambassador.
